Olivia P's statement necklace: get the look

As always, I'm in awe of Olivia's latest look as seen on her own style blog: www.oliviapalermo.com. This simple yet striking ensemble in my opinion, is made by her choice of accessories (as quite often is the case with Miss P's winning looks).

Olivia Palermo Hair

I've been searching the net trying to find the closest pieces I can and here's what I've found...

Seed Bead Section Necklace www.topshop.com £18.50

Olivia's own neck candy is from Charming Charlie, you can shop here > charmingcharlie.com. Since the prices are actually extremely reasonable, I think I'll be opting for the real deal! Stunning pieces that will polish off any look.

The Arqiva BAFTA television awards 2012

I recently worked at the BAFTAS, the red (white and blue) carpet was spectacular, themed for this year's Cool Britannia phenomenon. So, the key trends I spotted were sequins, metallics and nudes. Take a look at some of my favourites below, who do you think gets the winning look?

Marrakech: 7 days, 7 looks

Marrakech is a wonderful place, beauty resides in the stunning gardens, the Atlas mountains and the must-see souks. Famous for labyrinth alleyways, magical snake charmers and sweet dishes it is one place you have to see to believe what you hear about it. Markets seem as if they go on forever, whilst finding your way through you can't help but conjure up thoughts of Aladdin, magic carpets don't seem like a myth here. I stepped into one of the rooms deep down in the souks to find a tablecloth or two, greeted by a friendly man and seated whilst a team of 5 or 6 wait on your every need. The best customer service in the world I'm sure. Whilst these men made sure I had the perfect size, colour and style I couldn't help but daydream about flying into the air on one of these beautiful pieces of fabric.

A trip to the Arabian Desert

Before Christmas I had the absolute holiday of a lifetime. I spent it in Dubai, down by the Marina Promenade just next to Jumeirah beach.

In Dubai, everything comes with a side of decadence.

If you get the chance to just sit in one of the many coffee shops of arabic restaurants along the beach front, do. A great place for people watching and to take in the beauty of the people who live here. Arabic women stroll along effortlessly in beautiful silk robes adorned in the finest embellishments, no outfit is complete without a Louis Vuitton or Gucci handbag and a fabulous pair of shoes.

Places you MUST visit when in Dubai; The Madinat (like an Arabian disney land), Al Qasr hotel for pure opulence, The Emirates Mall, The Dubai Mall, any mall you pass!! The Palace, part of the old town, and of course the desert for camel rides, luxurious resorts, falcon shows and the most spectacular sights.
