Lagerfeld's ladies are some of the most breathtakingly beautiful women of today, dress them in the Chanel Cruise Collection and it's enough to make anybody skip a heart beat. Taking place in the equally stunning French Riviera, the 2011/2012 Collection featured powdery pastels such as lemon and lilac, beads and tweed on dresses and suits. The Darlings included Alexa Chung and Rachel Bilson (my absolute fave girl crushes), Blake Lively, Vanessa Paradis, Poppy Delevigne, Caroline Sieber, Laura Bailey and Clemence Poesy.
Rachel Bilson is by far my biggest girl crush and definitely one of my most influential style icons. I do own a pair of leather shorts just like hers (but from Topshop) however I have always been a bit scared to team them with bare legs and wear them in the summer... Rachel pulls these off elegantly and beautifully by teaming with a textured white top and a structured blazer, not forgetting the staple quilted clutch and Louboutin's.
